Inspiring Education
The Yorkshire Air Museum welcomes a diverse variety of schools, scouts, STEM and overseas schools each year. Our educational programme has been nominated for awards and our guides help to educate and inspire visitors of all ages.
Schools and Educational Visits
Join us for a day of fun, discovery and excitement at the Yorkshire Air Museum and let our Museum Guides enthral your pupils by bringing to life over 170 years of aviation history within authentic wartime surroundings!
Scout Visits
Scouts and other like minded organisations visit the Museum together to learn more about both history and aviation technology. During or after your visit, you can work towards the Air Activities badge with our supporting worksheet covering Stage 1 and Stage 2. The worksheet is available to download from our website here together with answers here.

Group Visits and Tours
Many people who visit the museum enjoy their visit as part of an organised group. They quickly realise that The Yorkshire Air Museum is not only for the traditional aviation enthusiast.
