Battle of Britain, written and illustrated by Phil May, is a soft cover, A4 publication depicting the aircraft of the Battle of Britain. His father was an artist and caricaturist who also served at Fighter Command in 1940.
In his school holidays, Phil met many of the pilots and crews serving at front line squadrons. The book is a collection of his illustrations, accompanied by facts and descriptions of the aircraft of the period, plus several interesting caricatures of RAF staff members of the time. Exclusive to The Yorkshire Air Museum!
