We would like to confirm that the Yorkshire Air Museum will indeed be open as usual tomorrow 29th April which has been declared a public holiday for the Royal Wedding.
So, the Museum provides a great escape for those not wanting to be sat in front of the television watching the proceedings, but still have that patriotic streak within them. What better way could there be to pass the time than wander around this historic site, home of the Allied Air Forces Memorial, taking in all the fascinating exhibits and historic aircraft on display?
In addition, the British Aerobatic Championships are taking place on Elvington Airfield on Friday and Saturday, and although this is a non public event seperate from the Museum, visitors will still be able to see the aircraft performing breathtaking manouvres in the sky overhead.
The Museum will be open as normal from 10am – 5pm.
