The aptly named “Golden Era” Vintage Motorcycle Run returns to the Yorkshire Air Museum on Sunday 26th July. This evocative event will see a gathering of over 60 pre 1931 machines, with a good number of the entries being over 100 years old.
These fascinating machines gather in the morning before departing at around 10:15am for th erun out in the surrounding countryside, so ‘early bird’ visitors will be treated to this spectacle as they roar off!!
To add to the excitement, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have supported the event with flypasts by the Hurricane and Spitfire allocated to the event. Some of the Museum’s live, vintage aircraft will be powered up on the day, including the Se5a and Eastchurch Kitten WWI fighters, so the event will provice a great day out for all the family.
