Following strong public demand, the Yorkshire Air Museum is pleased to announce a unique and eagerly anticipated night shoot photographic event featuring our world renowned Halifax bomber “Friday the 13th”. The event is scheduled to take place on the evening of Friday 13th March 2015, rather appropriately.
The Halifax alone is a tempting proposition, but to make the evening totally unmissable for the aviation photography enthusiast, is the addition of the Douglas C-47 Dakota and the De Havilland Devon twin props, which will BOTH be running their engines – a fabulous sight and sound! Also ‘in the frame’ will be the De Havilland Mosquito Nightfighter, which will be out of the confines of the Main Display hanger for the event.
We are very pleased to announce that we are working with Timeline Events for this event, who are specialists at this kind of event, having run similar events at other locations over a number of years. Our combined expertise and this unique line up of aircraft should provide an excellent occasion for all to enjoy, but do not delay in booking your space, as tickets are limited to 100.
