Following on from the highly successful ‘Friday the 13th’ Nightshoot held in March this year, we are once again delighted to be working with Timeline events to host another evening photography session taking place on the evening of Friday 16th October.
For this session, the theme will be the Cold War and ‘Heavy Metal’ and fittingly the aircraft in the frame for this event are of course the Cold War legend that is Handley Page Victor XL231 “Lusty Lindy”. Joining her are the newly repainted Tornado GR4 now in No. 2 Squadron markings, the beautiful Mirage III, the only one in the UK and also newly repainted and completing the line up is the Hunter F8 which is currently going back into its very striking Qatar Emiri Air Force colours. Badged as QA10, this Hunter was amongst the first, and we think it actually was the first, Hunter to go into service with the newly independent QEAF back in 1971, so will make for a very unusual ‘capture’ on the night. This refurbishment is nearing completion, so will be very fresh for the event.
Tickets, priced at £55, went on sale last week through the Timeline events website and already some 40 tickets have been sold so do not delay in getting yours! The link follows below:
