As the daylight hours grow shorter, it's time for our second night photo shoot opportunity of the year. This autumn the theme is Operation Granby / Desert Storm. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the commencement of operations in the first Gulf War. Remembrance Sunday

The unique Elvington Remembrance Service will take place from 11am on Sunday 13th November at the French Air Forces Memorial in Elvington Village followed by the service at the Yorkshire Air Museum Station Chapel at 13.30pm. Both are wreath-laying ceremonies. These Services give us chance to remember the sacrifice of so many allied aircrews of numerous nationalities, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Poland, amongst others, who flew with Fighter, Bomber, Coastal and Transport Commands of the Royal Air Force…

Each year, the MG Car Club enjoy their annual Daffodil Run across the Yorkshire countryside. It is always a very picturesque event and one for a worthy cause, as the Club run helps to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
