Buccaneer Royal Navy Colour Scheme now complete

We are delighted to announce that our Blackburn Buccaneer S2 XN974 will be rolled out for public viewing on Wednesday 31st May at 11:00am, following an extensive re-paint. This marvellous example of the Yorkshire built Buccaneer type has been returned to its original livery as the prototype for the Fleet Air Arm / Royal Navy variant of this strike and reconnaissance aircraft. This summer's Thunder Day will feature the return of our Buccaneer XN974 to the live aircraft schedule. Now repainted in her original Royal Navy colour scheme, everyone will be enjoying seeing this aircraft running once again. An approximate schedule for this Thunder Day is below. Golden Era Vintage Motorcycle Run

An annual nostalgic gathering of amazing pre 1931 vintage motorcycles at the Museum. The Golden Era Run is organised by the Vintage Motor Cycle Club and each year moire than 100 motorcycles, many more than 100 years old, depart from the Museum for a gentle adventure around the Yorkshire Wolds.
