C47 Dakota – the original and historic Dakota will be coming to life, watch for our firefighting team lending a hand to pull through the propellor blades before starting, then the flames from the exhaust stacks as she shuts down her Wasp radial engines
De Havilland Devon – The straight six engines of our sometimes temperamental Devon always come to life with a large cloud of smoke. There’s no mistaking when she’s coming to life.
Battle of Britain Flight flypast – Enjoy the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane from the Royal Air Force overhead at some point during the day, making this day out a great celebration of propellor driven flight.
