This Easter when you visit, follow the white rabbit trail around the museum, answer the questions as you explore, then collect your own yummy white chocolate rabbit!
We have 200 white chocolate rabbits this Easter Sunday. Collect your trail questions from the Museum stewards office by the main entrance, £0.50 per trail, suitable for all children, prizes available to the first 200 completed trails.
Nostradamus was a white rabbit who lived at the Station when the French Squadrons were based here during WWII. He was so popular with the French aircrews that he became their mascot and featured on their Squadron markings which you can still see displayed proudly on our Halifax bomber in the main Hangar. 346 French Squadron was formed here during World War Two. They had a white rabbit carrying a knapsack as their official mascot. You can see the markings on the side of our Halifax bomber in the main hangar.
