Conference and training courses have specific objectives which are different to other corporate events. While many conference facilities in York are based around hotels, more and more businesses are finding the inspiring location of the Yorkshire Air Museum to be an excellent alternative to a boring, plain hotel facility.

“Business review” – Trip Advisor
We regularly use the Yorkshire Air Museum for our training events. The training room is quiet and free from external noise from other events. The huge car park is a big plus in York – we never have a problem parking at YAM. All the YAM team members who help on our events are first-class – nothing is too much trouble. Refreshments always arrive on time and never run out. It is an excellent venue for training events. The Smart Training Group | www.smarttraining.co.uk
“We used Yorkshire Air Museum as a venue for one of our Annual Mobility Days. Due to the nature of our guests, we needed a venue which ticked a long list of requirements…. And YAM did just this! The Hangar was huge flat space; offering us lots of flexibility for our exhibitions, the car parking area was large, flat and close by, the museum as an attraction itself offered our guests an interesting, interactive and fun day out! And not to forget the delicious refreshments! All in all a fantastic venue… Staff were on hand right from the off-set and couldn’t have been more helpful. If you’re looking for a venue with that added the ‘WOW’ factor then we would highly recommend… I mean who wouldn’t be impressed with a real life, full sized War World 2 Bomber in the same room… it didn’t disappoint!
